It’s always hard to find good hearted people and its common to fashion field too.Charitha Waidyasiri is well known upcoming sri lankan fashion model who has good determination to go forward in fashion and our good hearted friend.

Few months back we had some opportunity to conduct a shoot with her,locations were bit far away from colombo. We simply thought to publish this post today as she celebrates her Bday today! :)

Lakmal nanayakkara is upcoming Sri Lankan singer who can to perform in wide range of music.He is acting as a member of well know Sri lankan music symbol, Maestro Dr Premasiri Khemadasa‘s opera team. Nowadays he takes part in singing competition and he has been selected for final 48 too(Its widely known as SIRASA superstar Generation 4). He wanted us to do some shoot with him for his promotional use.

We wish Lakmal good future in music..!!

Private session @ Vill Uyana

Last week we packed our photography-gear and went to a hotel call Vil Uyana (Dambulla, Sri Lanka), for a private session shoot of a newly wedded couple, Ashika & Wenura. Wenura is one of the contacts of my friend- Duminda Nawarathna (another true srilankan talented photographer).

We started our journey from colombo around 2am and reached there by 6:30am.Though traveling long distance made us tired as we expected, we impressed by the colours of “Unpolluted nature” immediately after we reached the location.

Due to unceasing rain(Not only in Dambulla, Thats common in most part of the island these days , we had to follow some alternative ways to light up the frame.But I guess we simply did our best to capture the whole session.

Makeup touches were given by Gayani Samarasinghe at Osco Saloon & Spa (Maharagama).I and my photography partner Manoj ridimahaliyedda conducted this session almost for 12 hours.

Few days back, we arranged a photo shoot with a upcoming sri lankan fashion model, Aloka Weerasingha.

Just after her ALs this year, she’s joined with some cable TV station as a tv-presenter.In addition to that, you can see her face in some beauty contests which run these days.

Makeup touches were given by Gayani Samarasinghe at Osco Saloon & Spa (Maharagama).I and my photography partner Manoj ridimahaliyedda conducted this for 3-4 hours, at Rukmal gama, Sri Lanka.

Srilankan one and only Music Video Award ceremony was held at GALADARI Hotel, colombo last friday night(05th Nov 2010).That was organized by one of srilanka’s popular tv channels-DERANA TV. SL music fans had some chance to vote for their favorite music videos.I went there to take couple of snaps of the event, and here they are

Srilankan music industry has become very energetic and fast refreshing field nowadays. So many youngsters are luking to get in to music field, and do a HIT by them self and be popular among young crowd. This time I had some chance to take part new music video which made by my co-worker/friend Thiwanka Lakmal (He is an UI engineer; just similar to my working scope. And once we two worked for the same IT company)

Jeewya Hansi is a friendly model who I bn knwng for sometime, and she had tkn part in various tv commercials plus fashion related workz. They decided to assign her for the female role of the video, and she perfectly suited with it.

Lucky bro, I wish you all the best with your new release..!!!

Derana City of Dance finals

In Last friday(October 15th, 2010) night Derana had organized grand finale of their very famous srilankan talent searching tv program “CITY OF DANCE” at Youth Center, Maharagama. It was filled with so many dancing items, entertaining programs plus so many celebrities.

I also got 3 V-I-P passes (thanks to my dear luving Nilushi Ab. ), and I thought to go there with my 50D.
